Nature's Recipe Large Breed Dry Puppy Food - Chicken - 14lb
Nature's Recipe Large Breed Puppy Recipe starts with delicious chicken that is rich in protein to help your growing puppy gain healthy muscle mass. High-quality oatmeal is a lean source of carbohydrates, which helps to provide the energy puppies need, and barley supplies fiber to support healthy digestion. With a taste that dogs can't resist and all the nutrients growing dogs need, this recipe will help your large-breed puppy thrive!
Control of food consumption is an important part of raising a healthy large-breed puppy. Free choice feeding (always having a full bowl available) should be avoided until your puppy reaches its mature skeletal size (12-24 months depending on breed). Use the feeding directions below as a guideline and adjust as needed to maintain a normal growth rate for the breed of your dog. Provide plenty of fresh drinking water at all times. From weaning to 6 months of age, feed the recommended amount in 3 feedings per day. Over 6 months of age, feed the recommended amount in 2 feedings per day. Always introduce new diets gradually.
