Product Information

Sleepypod Air

Sleepypod Air is a revolutionary carrier that redefines in-cabin pet travel. Air adapts to the various under-seat storage requirements set by different airlines while providing maximum comfort for your jet set pet.

Worrying about buying a carrier that will not fit under a plane seat is a thing of the past. Our patent pending folding system allows pets to travel in the largest space possible while the airplane is in the air, yet still allows for stowage under an airline seat during takeoff and landing. When the captain says you can recline your seat, rotate the Sleepypod Air so it is between your feet and expand the ends so both you and your little friend can stretch out comfortably for the duration of the flight. In-cabin pet travel has never been so comfortable.

Straps on both sides allow you to secure the Sleepypod Air in your car. A pass through pocket allows you to secure the Sleepypod Air to the telescoping handle on carry-on luggage.

Comments about Air - Glacier Silver:

After trying several others and researching a lot I purchased this carrier for my mini dachshund that is about 11 lbs.

Let me tell money spent ever. I travel frequently by plane and the dog comes along so it has had about 12 plane trips and too many too count car rides and is still in pristine condition.

This carrier is very comfortable to carry compared to similar kinds. Great padded strap and the zippers on the side allow you to put the carrier on top of the suitcase you're carrying at the airport. You can also buckle the carrier in a car seat safely. How we travel by car is with carrier secured, the top zipped open, and the dog with his leash attached to the handy D ring inside the carrier. He gets to look around but not jump around. :)

I love how the mesh allows to dog to get plenty of air and look out but people can't see in as much. (less stress for the pet) There is even a slide that you can put in to close off one side of the carrier in case there is a draft. Inside "bed" is washable and removable (awesome!) Lots of room for treats, leash, poo bags in the pockets. Most importantly, the dog LOVES it and it makes travel a breeze.

All in all, this is a very durable carrier. Used it since he was a puppy so it has stood up to some teething puppy chewing. (other carrier we got and spent 90 bucks on got a hole scratched through in 5 minutes flat when I wasn't watching =/) I have flown with 5 different airlines and it has never been a problem. So if you are going to spend a bunch on a carrier anyways...spend a couple bones more and get this one. You won't regret it. We're having a new dog join the family and will be buying a second. :)
