This wheel is the best thing I've found on the market for my hedgehog. It stands the test of time, and the beating that wheels take from her running all night long. Other wheels we tried would need to be replaced every 6 months because they started making so much noise. We've had this for almost 2 years and it's still going strong. It's also SILENT. The only you hear is her nails clicking away as she runs. I have tried every other type of wheel with solid running surface and this is the best. It's also very easy to clean, and my hedgie likes to use her wheel as a litter box, so it's usually disgusting. Just soak in water and everything comes of easily. I can't recommend it enough!
