Comments about Ovo Home:
As a long-time hamster owner, I don't recommend this habitat (especially for new hamster owners). I've owned many habitats, from the silly to the plain, and this is by far the most frustrating one. It is complicated to clean and difficult to attach all the parts properly (which could be problematic for children). The wheel design, while allowing for lots of air flow, also allows for all kinds of items to fly out. If you've got a hamster who likes to pee in the wheel, and many do, be prepared for hamster urine on your wall and table. The tray catches anything that drops straight down but that doesn't help much when a hamster is spinning the wheel. My best suggestion: a big aquarium. It's easy to clean, affordable, and simple to customize.
Comments about Ovo Home:
This cage is secure- the hamster has not escaped yet, but unfortunately the design does not keep the hamster bedding and waste inside the cage. Our hamster carries bedding and food into the wheel (and poops in there), and then all of this stuff falls out of the wheel via the groove down the middle, into the white "catch basin" which often then spills onto the table. While the wheel can be easily removed and dumped out, I would much rather have the wheel inside the cage so bedding and waste isn't spilling out of the wheel onto the table
Also, if the water side tube gets food or poop in it, a filthy sludge collects there and drips out of the tube onto the table.
Overall a very very messy design that results in the whole area around the cage getting littered with bedding, waste and food.
