    Comments about Betta Floating Log:

I have a community tank of 3 female bettas (was 5, 2 died) and a group of 5 cory cats. The box said it would take some time for the bettas to start using the log, but my 3 girls were exploring it within an hour after I put it in. The next day, I found all 3 trying to fit in there at the same time!

Regarding the negative comments: you should rinse the log whenever you do a tank clean and check for any sharp edges, as you should with most tank decorations. File down sharp edges and rinse away any slimy buildup, and your bettas will keep loving having this mini haven in their tank.

I especially recommend it for larger community tanks if you have a group of females raised together. Even if there's multiple bettas in the tank, they're still independent fish and need places to separate themselves from each other. This log works nicely for that - unless your fish are odd like mine and like sitting in there all at the same time!
