Marineland Eclipse Aquarium System - Hex - 5 Gallons
A great way to get everything you need to start an aquarium. The Eclipse Glass Aquarium Systems include a high-quality Eclipse filtration and lighting system. The unique top of the tank hood effectively hides the light source and the filtration, and allows the aquarium to be placed closer to a wall than with a typical hang-on-the-back filter.

Great first tank or isolation tank
Comments about Eclipse Aquarium System - Hex - 5 Gallons:
I rated myself "Casual Fish Keeper" because I still have fish that suffer from my poor water conditions. I bought the tank, received in only two days after ordering!, to be an isolation tank for ill fish. Or, I'd like to get into the good habit of isolating new fish when I get them. I've had new fish die just from the stress of adapting to their new life and expensive fish come in with diseases such as popeye that could potentially harm the healthy fish I already have. Some medications require a 20% water change before new doses, and water can be expensive, especially when using bottled water, as I do. I liked that the tank only requires about 1 square foot of space on a cabinet, was quickly set up for someone who has set up tanks before, even coming with advice offers from Tetra. The light shield is flimsy, though, and the motor makes enough noise that I wouldn't advise putting this tank in a bedroom, especially for a light sleeper. I'd also consider a lower but longer tank, rather than a narrow and tall tank for long-term conditions.
