I administer these to my dog only while I am able to keep an eye on her (english bulldog). While I know rawhides are generally not good for dogs, especially bulldogs, chew, I figured we would make an acception for these considering that I was watching her while she chewed them and they were small/thin and only given one once a day. They are very difficult for her to eat/chew. They do not tear apart or dissolve easy therefore shes just trying to swallow the whole thing and spitting it back up and then trying to swallow the whole thing again and then somehow finally eat it, but it's a terrible process. While I do feel they control breath odor and clean, I do not feel the cons outweigh the pros in this case. I think if they were a little thicker in material, they would chew easier. I will not purchase these again
