    Comments about Embark:

I was given some Honest Kitchen samples at a Meet the Breeds event, and they drove my three dogs bonkers. Since then, I've acquired a fourth, and just recently bought a big box of Embark for them. This is slightly more involved than the usual kibble-scooping because you have to take the measuring scoop and get the right amount of food for each dog, then pour in the right amount of water for each, and watch their poor eager faces gazing up at the counter for five minutes while it hydrates. But is it worth it? I'd say so. On the first serving, the boys (a Brittany and a Beagle) downed theirs pretty quickly. The girls (a Saluki and a Bluetick Coonhound) took their time a little bit more, opting to save maybe 1/3 of their bowls for the next day. This time most of them seemed a bit more confused by the extremely soupy nature of it; my brother and mom remarked that it looked like pig slop mixed with sewer slime. And it was probably too much water; I'll have to reduce that amount somewhat in the future, experimenting 'til I get it just right. They were lapping it up as though it were a bowl of green water. Still, all four dogs seemed to enjoy the taste (even if they also seem to believe that "the food is always better in the other dogs' bowls.") Naturally, I really like the wholesome healthfulness of foods such as this.

    Comments about Embark:

Our little guy devours every last morsel. I believe it's in the "raw" category as well so very good for your furbaby. Since our little guy survived parvo as a puppy, we are very careful with everything that may affect his digestive system in any way. We use only Honest Kitchen and Ziwipeak and both are phenomenal. The only thing I can say that is negative about the product is that it is quite expensive (fortunately we have a less than 20 pounder) so it can get super-pricey if you have a big dog. Our little guy is super active too so this product is good for active dogs' nutritional needs it seems.

I have four dogs, all small breeds. This product is the most recognizable food I have ever purchased for them. One can actually see the vegetables and fruits in it. I myself would eat this it is so high quality! I will continue to use this product along with a raw diet that I feed the dogs.

        Comments about Embark:

We use this product as a mix with dry kibble twice a day for our 2 dogs. It is a wonderful product that has done wonders for both of our dogs. We love that turkey is the main ingredient and that it doesn't have gluten or grain in any part of it. It has the perfect amount of protein for my very active and in shape dogs, and their muscle tone is recognized and applauded by everyone including the vet. Both dogs lick their bowls clean and have healthy BM's daily, which is why we have been using this product for over a year now. It is very digestible and doesn't cause any upsets on my little one, and my bigger dog has no signs of allergy which is fantastic. We buy the 10lb bag and it lasts about 5 weeks since we feed twice a day and mix in kibble to extend the bag over 5 weeks. Both dogs are doing better on this formula than they were on Grandma Lucy's Pureformance formula, but both products are phenomenal and made in the USA! Overall a fantastic food for your dogs to thrive on and live a long and healthy life.

        Comments about Embark:

This product is excellent. It's got all the good ingredients I needed to give my rescued Golden (45 lbs. when he was rescued)the best nurishment to get him back to a healthy 84 lbs. I mix it with Instinct Lamb kibble/can and he loves it. The only thing that I don't care for is the fact that it gets his drinking water mucky as he takes a drink during his meal. It also helps with his stools when it's time to p/u! They are very solid. I would recommend this to my friends, just as his NGRR Rescurer suggested this to me.
