Tagg - GPS Pet Tracker Master Kit

Tagg Pet Tracker - GPS Pet Tracker and GPS Dog Tracker System Runaway pets won't stay lost for long when they are wearing the Tagg Pet Tracker. This purpose-built pet tracking device uses GPS and wireless technology to help you track your pet's location as well as activity level.

With the Tagg GPS dog tracker, you can monitor your pet's location, receive notification if there is an escape and easily track where your pet has gone. Your pet wears the lightweight and water-resistant Tagg Pet Tracker right on the collar you already have (collar not included). If your dog gets out of your home without you, you receive an alert via text or email. The GPS dog tracker syncs with your computer or mobile device to help you pinpoint exactly where you pet is, even showing you the route taken.

Tagg's GPS dog tracker can not only help you find a lost pet: it can monitor your pet's activity level at home. Use the Tagg Pet Tracker to record and compare your dog's activity level over the course of the day or from day to day, tracking for long-term trends. Veterinarians recommend that dogs get between 30 and 60 minutes of exercise per day. Share your findings with your vet to help set daily exercise goals and determine if more activity is required. You can use the Tagg GPS pet tracker system for either your dog or your cat as long as your pet weighs 10 lbs. or more. The lithium ion battery in the tracker can last up to 30 days depending on use; charge as needed using the convenient docking station. Every year, more than 10 million pets are lost from homes. Keep your pet from becoming a statistic with a GPS pet tracker like Tagg. The easy-to-use system lets you monitor your pet using your computer or mobile device.

Comments about Tagg - The Pet Tracker:

I lost my dog during the playoffs. The seahawks won, and all my crazy Seahawk neighbors sent off fireworks. I did not think for a second that there would be fireworks going off after the game. My dog was in my yard at the start of the game. When the game finished she was not in the yard. I spent 24 hours looking for her. spent $200 at fedex running off posters and flyers to hand out to people. I spent 24 hours straight looking for her. I was lucky enough a little girl found my dog and saw all of my posters everywhere and returned my dog to me. However, some people may not be that lucky if their pet goes missing. Right after i got my dog back I decided to buy Tagg. Already this has saved me many hours of looking for my dog. My dog has gotten out three times in the short time I have had Tagg. Every time Tagg has texted me she left my yard and gave me exactly where my dog was and driving directions to her. I highly recommend this product! It give you peace of mind and a security net if your dog does get out and goes missing. You can readily find them and know exactly where they are. Well worth the investment.

Comments about Tagg - The Pet Tracker:

This would be a decent product if the battery would only hold a charge. Under ideal circumstances, the unit will hold a charge for 2-3 days if your pet is ever lost. In real-world experience, though, the battery eventually runs down such that you will maybe have an hour or two to find your lost pet before the collar stops sending a signal. I went through two different units before finally getting fed up and cancelling my subscription (I would have given them a third chance, but was a little irked that they wanted to charge me for a replacement collar the third time around since it had exceeded their warranty window -- seems to me that the monthly charge should cover that sort of thing).

Comments about Tagg - The Pet Tracker:

I've been using the Tagg pet tracker for over two years. It's been flawless! Luckily "Kody" hasn't gotten lost to where we've needed to use the service, but from time to time when Family has him I've used it to see where they are. -Works every time! Coverage is excellent as it works on the Verizon network, which has pretty good coverage as well. I've only been aware of the tracker coming loose from the collar a handful of times, and of all those times it has never come completely off the collar. (one of the two clasps are always locked) -Every time I've been notified about the detachment. The only complaint I have to date it that for whatever reason the plastic on the unit has become brittle and as such the current one I have has become unusable due to not being waterproof/not charging properly anymore. It still works however, even after getting water inside. I can't complain too bad because Kody is an active Siberian husky who has worn this thing for two years non stop. -That works out to be about 4 bucks a month in equipment replacement cost. No too bad for the piece of mind! (buying my new one right now, actually.)

Comments about Tagg - The Pet Tracker:

The tracker will detach from the collar. The company claims that an alert will be sent but that has not been the case with either of the trackers I have had. The customer service is not helpful when this happens and will not replace.
