This is hardly reflective. I bought this before reading the comments, and wish I'd looked closer. The reflective stitching is good, but it is two thin strips and only on one side of the leash.

I purchased this leash beacuse I take my black dog out after dark, and I wanted to be seen by passing cars. If you can find another reflective leash, try that first.

I've used this leash for the last year since we got our puppy. Here are my thoughts:
- the reflective part isn't really reflective - it's very minor and it fades, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't the best leash for you.
- the padding makes it very soft. Also makes it very durable. It took our puppy a year to bite through enough that we need a new one -- and I consider that a pretty good track record considering she was teething and chewing everything she could get her hands on.
- The orange color is really nice, though it does get a bit dirty over time. I threw it in the wash a few times, so even though it began to look a bit old, I knew it was clean.
- Other leashes can be really heavy at the clasp area, this is light enough that it doesn't pull or drag down our small havanese pup.
- Length is fine. I would prefer 5' instead of 6' but most are 6' and I'm not too upset over it.
- If it says anything, we are going to get another in the same color. We are very happy with the product overall.
