This is a great product and at a great price... Only it does not hold anywhere near the amount of food that it says it will hold. The large bowl holds about 2 cups of puppy food. As you want the food to stay in between the raised plastic pieces. So if you feed more than that, go with the jumbo bowl. It does slide so I put the bowl on a rug or a mat.

This bowl does the job for my hungry lab. However, she has a wide snout and seems to have trouble getting it into the sections of the bowl. This makes the bowl slide around the floor.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
