Comments about 95% Duck Canned Cat Food:

Cats love it! no issues with eating here and we have 5. We feed a lot of canned food and very little dry - so we have tried all of the premium - they like this as well as any others.

Comments about 95% Turkey & Chicken Canned Cat Food:

Wow, got my shipment today and my normally very eager cats won't touch this stuff. Sniffed it and walked away. Two of the cans came dented as well. Will keep trying but so far but cats are turning their noses up to this stuff. Bummer.

Comments about 95% Beef Canned Cat Food:

My cat was recently diagnosed with crystals in her urine. As a 1st step the vet recommended an all wet food diet to prevent it from happening again. With 2 cats, I thought switching to a larger can could help stretch the dollar further. My cats are just such picky eaters. They only like beef & seafood varieties. Chicken & Turkey are not an option which makes it difficult. So when I saw the 13.2oz can of beef & it was low carbs & no grain I was excited. Unfortunately my cats tried it for 15 seconds & decided they would not eat it. I tried feeding it a few times & they would just taste it then walk away. They would rather starve then eat it. Now I have 11 cans of a cat food left that they won't eat....

Comments about Ferret Food - 6.6 lb:

I have tried other brands of similar quality and cost, but this is by far the best. My ferrets love this food and they are healthy, active, normal weight. Their overall health seemed to improve once I started feeding Evo brand. I wish Evo made a complete food for people too!

Comments about 95% Turkey & Chicken Canned Cat Food:

I followed the usual method of introducing a new food, a very, very slow addition of EVO into my cat's normal food and gradually increasing it. From day one, my cat would not touch this stuff.

She'd lick bits of her old food out and leave the EVO. I tried other methods to coax her into it over the following weeks - the addition of cheese, then egg (cooked and raw), then chicken broth, diluting it with water, warming it, chilling it, adding shredded chicken, tuna oil from a can, refusing her any other kind of food or treats to make sure she was hungry..nothing worked. The EVO just congealed into a mass in her bowl that looked revolting.

She went lost a little weight and lost of a lot of her usual pep and energy so I gave up..getting my money out of a pricey food isn't worth her health, especially if it was all going to the neighborhood strays anyway!

She's gaining weight now on a carb heavy emergency trip to walmart sort of pet food :( at least until I can find better....EVO was bad enough she now associates it with her usual dry food, which I wanted her off of anyway but was at least a vet-recommended brand, and she won't touch it either! This wasn't a finicky cat until EVO - she'll usually eat anything - and she took right to the walmart stuff as if she'd eaten it all her life (hoo...ray)

...something in EVO must taste awful to her. I'd advise buying 1 (small) can and trying it out on your pet before committing to a full purchase. Wish I had. Wag is at least working with me and offered to replace it with a different brand so I'll update if I can if that goes through.

Plus...even though it was recommended on a cosumer review site as a healthy cat food...carrageenan!!! Let me give a sarcastic 'how lovely...' to that. My bad for not reading that label carefully enough. I saw the 95% and thought that if I couldn't do raw, maybe this was the next best thing. Wrong. :(
