Comments about Softer Texture - Scented Litter:

I have owned cats all of my 44 years- so let's say I have been assessing litter for more than 30 years. Over the last 3 years I have been trying all the non-clay litters. This is HANDS DOWN the WORST cat litter I have ever used.

The gigantic pellets of compressed newspaper don't seem to have any litter like qualities above, say, gravel. Imagine soaking a newspaper with cat urine: does it dampen the odor? No. If anything it enhances it, like salt on a steak.

The few pellets that interacted with the cat box contents did so by turning into dust. Cat urine soaked newsprint dust. Both the pellets and the dust are utterly unscoopable. I had to dump the entire box ever 2-3 days due to the smell. The 26.5 pound bag lasted 10 days, maybe 2 weeks. Terrible!

It doesn't track much, but when you step on one of those giant pellets- disgusting!
