Switched from a corn product and I am pleased with how much better Swheat Scoop clumps nice and tight. I mean it really sticks together, so less tracking out of the litter box. Litter box order is nonexistent. Yippee!

            Comments about Natural Wheat Litter:

I have used this litter in two boxes used by my diabetic cat for several years because he had neuropathy so bad after high glucose for some time when I gave him a home. He would get clay litter all over because he literally ended up down on all fours in the box. A friend told me about this litter making it easier to clean him. He had acupuncture to help...it worked. He has been regulated for years but I still use the litter because he gets around great but it is not perfect. Recently the formula was changed apparently. It was never the best clumping but did to a degree. It no longer clumps and is like sawdust. Guess the company makes more money this way. I have to use it because of his issues until I can find something better.

My two cats are older and set in their ways, and they love this stuff. I wish I could discourage them from periodically kicking it out of the box, but it is so clean and absorbant that getting it off the floor is no issue. I ued to use clay litter and there is no comparison in terms of odor or weight. I bought two new litter boxes and this product helped them to make the transition.

                Best Uses

                • Multiple Cats

Lets just say I have "several" cats. I had been using Feline Pine for many years, until a friend who owns a cat shelter/sanctuary told me she only uses Swheat Wheat. So I started using it about 4 moths ago and it's great! Not a perfume smell. Fresh and natural. It was very important to me to not have a home that smells like cats. I got that with Feline Pine, but this is just easier. It's also important to me to not have all the chemicals around my cats. There's none of that dust that they would breathe in like most other litters. It clumps great. Make sure you follow the instructions. Use 3 inches of litter in the box. Scoop frequently. Also, purchasing a new microbial box is a good idea. The litter doesn't stick to the bottom as easily with a new box.
