        I bought this placemat to put under my kitten's food and water dish. She leaves it alone, doesn't chew on it, but her claws have ended its life! She's not trying to puncture little holes in it. It's just happening naturally. I'm not impressed. Maybe older cats who are calmer could handle the soft mat better.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
