        Comments about Corn Cob Bedding:

I have 25 parrots that I care for and after a week every cage needs to be cleaned out. The weight and absorbancy of this litter is just what I need. Weight is important when the birds stretch their wings. Shavings will fly all over, corncob stays where it is. The moisture absorbancy is just as important and allows for an easier clean-up. I'd recommend this product to anyone but especially those with larger birds (Blue & Gold Macaws, Green wings, even Amazons)

          Comments about Corn Cob Bedding:

I have large McCaws and Cockatoos and smaller Conyours and Senegals and even smaller Love Birds. I use this in all their cages and it absorbs well and doesn't leave the cage when they flap their wings. It gives you what you need in a litter.

              Comments about Corn Cob Bedding:

This product does have a very very small amount of dust (nothing compared to clay litters I remember), and a few odd stringy bits, but a real good buy for the volume. I've been using corn cob bedding for non-clumping cat litter (after trying all kinds of litters). It absorbs urine amazingly well and it's easy to scoop out pooh with a standard litter scoop; however, I usually notice a sustained urine odor in about 5 to 7 days, so change it regularly. It does track out of the box due to its light weight, but not far and is easy to sweep up or vacuum. It does *not* leave loads of dust all over the cats (or the stove top or the sinks, etc.), nor odd colors on the white cats' paws, like other natural litters have done. And even the finicky cat took to it easily. If you don't mind changing the litter box at least weekly, this is a lightweight natural litter made from a waste product with few troubling features. If I had small pets, I would use this product in their cage to keep them dry and comfortable.
