We got this harness after our trainer recommended one where the leash attaches at the chest for our medium sized husky-mutt. We got him sized/fit at a boutique pet store. In less than a month the nylon began to fray, and the sliding adjustments that make it tight around the chest (and thus functional to stop pulling) no longer hold there place. It works fine, unless your dog pulls.

I gave it two stars instead of one because we use this harness to run with our dog, so perhaps it was because of our more "intense" usage, but it I feel like a harness built for this size dog to stop pulling should be able to handle a dog that pulls! We're still looking for the perfect harness...

This harness also gets two instead of one stars because it is exceptionally easy to get on and off, and the front location of the ring really does make a difference. It's nice and subtle, too. It just needs to be more durable to be functional.

Our big 8-month old puppy had too much energy and just pulled with our original harness. When he outgrew the old one we decided to go with the Easy Walk harness. It's amazing how different and good he is just by moving the the leash to his chest instead of this back. I definitely recommend this product.
